Hallidays working hard to help their clients – 5 years on!
On 24th October 2008 Hallidays Business Advisers and Accountants combined their two offices in Manchester and Bramhall and moved into purpose built premises at Kings Reach Business Park, Stockport. They are celebrating this anniversary on 7th November with clients, prospects and team members.
“Before the move we had already stopped using timesheets and were offering Fixed Price Agreements to our clients however, we wanted to reflect our forward thinking ethos and improve the quality of our environment for the team. The move enabled us to build modern purpose built premises using the latest technology and energy saving recommendations. All team members now have free parking with easy access to the motorway and benefit from flexible working hours and practices.
New internal processes also introduced at that time, for example a document management system, that resulted in a 70% improvement in paper usage. These steps along with many others have contributed to Hallidays recently receiving the Groundwork Silver and Bronze environmental accreditation www.groundwork.org.uk\msstt. Hallidays have strong links with Marketing Stockport, local suppliers and introducers and our chosen charity ‘The Seashell Trust’ for whom the team have worked tirelessly to raise funds. All this has continued to improve the whole communication process and service offering as trusted advisers in the N.W.”

In addition to the new location, 2008 also marked the formation of Hallidays Ethical Resourcing Limited. H.E.R specialises in the provision of timely, professional and commercially focused HR Consultancy. This is enhanced by a bespoke Financial Recruitment service as well as a Psychometric Profiling capability designed to improve the performance of both individuals and teams. H.E.R provides Hallidays clients with a set of complementary services from ‘under the same roof’ whilst also building its own customer base.
Hallidays also have their own in-house IT expertise providing a professional level of service delivery often not associated with this sector. The free ‘IT Audit’ offered to clients provides a complete overview of their systems and in many cases has led to improvements saving thousands. Hallidays are launching a new IT website and are now Cloud based so the team can access all documentation and software from anywhere.
