The Society of Independent Brewers is operating its Direct Delivery Scheme (DDS) with Admiral Taverns, Punch Taverns, New Century Inns, Enterprise Inns, Orchid Pub Co., Edinburgh Woollen Mill, Threshers and ASDA supermarkets.

Direct Delivery means: your ability to solicit trade with selected pubs owned by pub groups within a prescribed format; to receive orders, documentation and payment via SIBA; to deliver direct to the pubs using your own transport; and to collect the empty casks from the pub.

A pub group may allow complete access to their estate and permanent presence of your products on the bar. SIBA has negotiated competitive terms for Technical Services so that you could incur NO COSTS for installation or maintenance of dispense equipment. Any supply on a ‘guest’ basis may also not incur any cost to you.

This DDS is open to any member, but each member must register with SIBA DDS. There is a fee of £300 + VAT. Registration, however, does not entitle you to immediate sales of your beers. The pub group may restrict the number of brewers in any given way.

SIBA’s role as a facilitator is operated electronically – in other words email and the Internet. SIBA acts as the hub of all contact, sales, delivery notes, invoices, ullage uplifts, labels and payment to you. You will never make contact with the pub group. You will only be able to develop a personal relationship with each licensee.

It is vital to note the following: ANY BREWER DELIVERING PRODUCTS IN AN UNAUTHORISE MANNER OR MAKING ANY ATTEMPT, WHETHER SUCCESSFUL OR NOT, TO CONDUCT OR SOLICIT DIRECT TRADING WITH LICENSEES (i.e. OUTSIDE THE AUSPICIES OF SIBA) WILL BE EXPELLED FROM ALL SIBA ATM SCHEMES INDEFINITELY. FUTURE MEMBERSHIP OF SIBA WILL ALSO BE CONSIDERED BY SIBA COUNCIL.
