Delivery Charter

· Risk assessment of retailer delivery point to be undertaken by each brewer to allocate delivery day and time and with consideration made of the delivery method and equipment required

· Delivery day and time window to be agreed with the retailer and should be no more than five days from date of order

· All deliveries will be made on the agreed day and within the time window

· All deliveries will be made in the correct and safe manner with appropriate use of ropes or other equipment as required

· All deliveries will be carried out using Pub Group approved format delivery notes

· The delivery crew will put away stock away in accordance with retailer request including stillage of casks

· Any product identified as being delivered incorrectly, outside minimum product life or is damaged at the point of delivery will be returned on the delivering vehicle and the delivery note amended

· The delivery crew will collect any brewers own empty casks following delivery of product on a “one in, one out” minimum. All casks will be appropriately labelled to allow easy retailer identification and segregation from other Distributors empties returns

· Arrival time and empties collected will be noted on the delivery note

· The delivery crew and the retailer will sign the delivery note, no delivery should be left without a signature

· Any damage to retailer or third party property that takes place during delivery should be highlighted to the retailer at the time. The brewers will be liable for the rectification costs

· All delivery crews should be de-briefed following delivery with any issues highlighted to the Pub Group

· Confirmation of delivery and quantities delivered and empties returns to be made to SIBA within 24 hours of delivery

· Signed delivery to be retained by suppliers as proof of delivery for audit purposes. Failure to produce proof of delivery in the event of any query will result in the full reimbursement of delivered sales value to the Pub Group

· Under no circumstances will substitute or additional products be added to Pub Group orders. Any changes must be requested by the retailer as a supplementary order via the Pub Group telecentre

· ANY BREWER DELIVERING PRODUCTS IN AN UNATHOURISED MANNER OR ANY ATTEMPT, WHETHER SUCCESSFUL OR NOT, TO CONDUCT OR SOLICIT DIRECT TRADING WITH LICENSEES (i.e. OUTSIDE THE AUSPICIES OF SIBA OR THE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE RETAILER AND THE PUB GROUP) WILL BE EXPELLED FROM ALL SIBA ATM SCHEMES INDEFINITELY. FUTURE MEMBERSHIP OF SIBA WILL ALSO BE CONSIDERED BY SIBA COUNCIL.
