Arbor Ales – Sales & Marketing Manager
Arbor has been a cornerstone of Bristol’s beer scene since 2007. We’re now looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our commercial function and drive Arbor’s continued growth in the UK and beyond.
This is a senior, hands-on role working directly with the company’s Directors and General Manager. You’ll oversee our sales and marketing team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while executing plans aligned with our overall strategy.

What You’ll Do
Lead and Support the Commercial Team
- Manage and mentor a small team across sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Set clear priorities, targets, and processes for efficient daily operations.
- Support team development and uphold high standards of customer and brand engagement.
Deliver Sales & Marketing Strategy
- Execute plans in line with strategic direction set by Directors.
- Contribute insights and recommendations to shape future strategy.
- Produce sales forecasts and performance reports to support production, logistics, and planning.
- Monitor KPIs to ensure activity delivers commercial results.
Strengthen Customer Relationships & Drive Growth
- Develop and manage key trade accounts across off-trade, on-trade, wholesale, and DTC.
- Support the BDM with territory planning and customer growth initiatives.
- Identify new revenue opportunities, market segments, and partnership potential.
Oversee Brand Communication & Marketing Delivery
- Manage social media output, digital campaigns, and B2B/B2C email communication.
- Coordinate creation and distribution of marketing and POS materials.
- Organize product launches, events, festivals, and tap takeovers.
- Ensure marketing spend is on-brand, measured, and delivering ROI.
Be Hands-On Where Needed
- Support the team during busy periods.
- Represent Arbor at trade events and industry occasions.
- Work flexibly across departments to keep the commercial function running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in both sales and marketing, ideally within craft beer, beverage, or FMCG.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a small team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Confident with strategic planning and hands-on execution.
- Comfortable analyzing data and preparing clear reports for senior management.
- Creative thinker with a commercial mindset and strong brand awareness.
- Proficient with digital tools (social platforms, email marketing, CRM, analytics).
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary:£43,000
- On-Target Earnings:£55,000 (performance-related bonus)
