Brewer
Derby Brewing are looking for an enthusiastic lead brewer to be involved in every stage of production.
Reporting directly to the Head Brewer, day to day responsibilities include:
– Wort Production, fermentation management through to completed product
– Basic yeast management
– Packaging into cask, keg and preparing beer for delivery to our bottlers
– Warehousing tasks
– Record Keeping
– Ensuring brewhouse maintained & cleaned to highest standard
– Overseeing other brewers on the floor
Requirements:
– Two years commercial brewing experience
– General Certificate in Brewing would be looked on favourably but we are willing to fund a diploma in brewing for the right candidate
– Well-organized, able to oversee brewery, brewing ingredients etc
– Hands-on, our brewers are expected to be involved in all aspects from loading up the brewery equipment for brewing to deliveries
