Senior/ production brewer

Experienced brewer required at Glen Affric Brewery for an immediate start, reporting to the production manager.
We’re a busy brewery with a tight production schedule to service.
We need an experienced brewer with a strong technical background to slot into a small but growing team.
Duties
- Wort production
- Cleaning and CIP
- Cellaring & tank observation
- Tank actions such as dry hopping
- Yeast management
- Centrifuge operation
- Keg washing and filling
- Occasional canning line operation
- FLT operation
- Record keeping
- Maintenance of compliance standards (HACCP, SALSA, HMRC)
Required:
- 2-5 years experience in brewing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work in a busy production environment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Physically fit
- A good understanding of brewing science
- Willingness to work shifts
Desirable:
- Formal brewing education
- Full driving licence
- FLT experience
- Experience with soft drinks and low alcohol beers
Compensation:
- £35000 annual salary
- 5.6 weeks paid leave per year.
