Hallidays, Stockport, stage a Knockout for the Seashell Trust
Hallidays Accountants LLP raised £2,000 in sponsorship towards their “Conquer the Great Wall of China” challenge by holding an It’s a Knockout competition and Family Fun Day last weekend.
11 teams took part in the It’s a Knockout competition at Woodford War Memorial Community Centre, Stockport, where they had to clamber across bouncy assault courses and race through pools of water as they competed against each other. Hallidays team members, family and friends all joined in along with participating companies Damar Training, Kutchenhaus, Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group and NatWest.
The winner was the ‘Tango Army’, a team made up of family and friends of Hallidays Accountants LLP.
The event helped to raise sponsorship for five of our team members who are walking the Great Wall of China in October and are aiming to raise over £10,000 for the Seashell Trust. Events so far have raised £6,000 and their next fundraising event is a Spinathon at Life Leisure Gym in Romiley on Saturday 17th August at 1:15pm. Anyone wishing to take part please email charity@hallidays.co.uk.
