Microdat secure rights to distribute Dolium® Kegs in UK and Ireland
Leeds based Microdat, one of the UK’s leading supplier of quality Keg Washing and Filling Equipment have signed a deal to be the exclusive distributors of Dolium® keg in the UK and Ireland.
Dolium® keg
Dolium® is a one-way keg solution, developed by Dispack-Projects NV, Belgium. In order to distribute these kegs Microdat has formed a new company, Dolium® UK, which will run in conjunction with the current business.
The concept of Dolium® was born from a necessity to create the first cost-effective one-way keg in the world. An extensive list of specifications comply to the requirements set by beverage producers, distributors and end users. After 3 years of intensive research, development and extensive testing with different brewers the Dolium® 30L Keg was brought to market.
Dolium® kegs are one-way PET kegs, designed for a single trip, from filler to consumer. Ideal for export, a quick start up solution into the kegging industry, or for peak sales periods, Dolium® kegs are available as 20L and 30L well types, with S, G and A type fittings.
Dolium® kegs are produced in a ‘clean room’ and are delivered pre-gassed and ready to fill. The kegs are safe, easy to use and are 100% recyclable once the head cap is removed. These kegs remove the need to clean, recover or repair steel kegs without compromising on the quality of the keg or the product.
