Brew-School in Bakewell to inspire a new generation of brewers
Brew-School in Bakewell has just launched a whole range of new brewing and business courses aimed at the UK’s microbrewing industry. The courses seek to enhance brewing skills and also assist brewers looking to set up their own microbrewery by giving them the key insights into what is required when setting up a microbrewery from scratch. Courses exploring the essentials of setting up a microbrewery range from a 2 day, 3 day up to a 7 day course.
New in 2015 is also a 5 day Practical Commercial Brewing Course with Tim’O’Rouke from Brilliant Beer which as well as showing students how to brew on a commercial scale brewing kit will also prepare them for the internationally recognised qualification the General Certificate in Brewing accredited by the Institute of Brewing & Distilling (IBD).
In June the Branding, Marketing & Packaging Course takes a look at the topic of how social media, branding and packaging beer can effect the sale and success of selling beer.
