After an incredibly successful first year, Great British Food Magazine’s Farm Produce Awards are back! We’ve changed a few of the categories so we can seek out even more heroes of the British food scene, and have recruited celeb chefs and famous faces onto our judging panel to get their professional opinion – including Nathan Outlaw, Rosemary Shrager, Jimmy Doherty and Valentine Warner.
The awards provide a fantastic platform for the skilled, passionate – and often unsung – artisans behind the nation’s finest speciality food and drink. Unlike many other awards schemes, ours is completely free to enter!
From cheese and bacon to beer and oil, the 14 award categories represent the huge spectrum of fine farm produce on the market. We’re on the lookout for products with stellar British credentials, and close attention will be paid to the provenance of the ingredients.
Brewed in the UK, bottled IPAs can be of the traditional English style or one of the newer, hoppier varieties. The use of British-grown hops and barley is a definite bonus!

- After the closing date, we’ll devise a shortlist and email the ten companies in each category our judges deem to have the best provenance on 16th June
