Bollington Festival Pub pops-up for 50th Anniversary celebrations Friday 16 May – Sunday 1 June 2014
The Bollington Brewing Company is delighted to be supporting this year’s 50th Anniversary Bollington Festival, running the official pop-up festival bar from a marquee on the award-winning recreation ground at the very heart of celebrations.
Bollington Brewing Company Director, Lee Wainwright, says: “We’re really excited to be involved with this year’s 50th Anniversary celebrations, and look forward to a busy time serving customers as they come to enjoy all the entertainment on offer, or just to soak up the atmosphere in these beautiful surroundings. You don’t have to be coming to an event to visit our new pub – we’ll be open throughout the festival for anyone who’d like refreshment, dogs included!”
Whether you fancy a glass of Prosecco before the Flamenco, want to wet your whistle before Professor Winston, or just like the idea of a pint whilst out for a stroll or walking the dog, the Bollington Festival Pub is happy to serve you. They have even brewed a special beer to commemorate the Festival’s Golden Anniversary, called Festivale!
Lee Wainwright says: “This event is especially close to our hearts as The Vale pub here in Bollington, which overlooks the recreation ground, was our first home and the springboard for the brewery and our other two pubs in Macclesfield and Poynton. The Bollington Festival Pub is a great opportunity to serve Bollington beer to loyal Bollington customers (and visitors from further a field) at a great Bollington occasion!”
The Bollington Festival Pub will be open Monday to Friday 5pm – 11pm and Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from 12 mid-day until 11pm. This special pop-up venue is available for everyone to use throughout the festival from Friday 16 May to Sunday 1 June. For more information, please visit www.bollingtonbrewing.co.uk
