Botanix and Simply Hops, two successful companies of the Barth-Haas Group, are pleased to announce that John Willetts joined Botanix in October 2014 as Sales and Marketing Director. He has spent the last 9 years with Univar, a large global chemical company, in various roles culminating in running their European colour division for the last three years. “Moving to the hop industry is an extremely exciting challenge for me as it is clear what huge potential this business has and what enthusiasm there is in the Barth Haas Group to create success.” (Willetts)
Botanix Ltd, with a facility in Paddock Wood, United Kingdom is the centre of excellence in the Barth-Haas Group for Hop Oils and Hop Aroma Products. Botanix also manufactures the full range of downstream products on behalf of the group. Additionally Simply Hops Ltd allows Joh. Barth & Sohn to respond to the specific needs of smaller breweries and to supply them with high-quality hop products. Both companies are part of the Barth-Haas Group, the world’s biggest provider of hop related services.
By mutual agreement, John Moss left Botanix in the middle of October, 2014, to pursue other interests. He has been CEO of Botanix for seven years, and in that time has made a significant contribution to the success of the company. The members of the Barth family thanked John Moss and recorded their appreciation of his achievements.
