The business launched with the website published to ‘live’ on November 1st 2012 with 70 pages of news and information; as of today, 5th September, the website contains over 2,100 pages, including many news and stories from members and businesses in Stockport.
Marketing Stockport promotes businesses in Stockport; it encourages greater trading between Stockport based businesses and encourages businesses from outside the area to buy goods and services from Stockport based businesses, nourishing the local economy. It is funded entirely through membership; 4 levels of membership have been created to ensure that it remains an inclusive organization, accessible to the entire business community irrespective of size.
