Job Role: Brewer/Assistant Brewer
Neon Raptor Brewing Co are looking for a Brewer/Assistant Brewer to join the team as we grow as a brewery. This is a great opportunity for someone to make a mark, joining a quickly growing team. The role would be most suited to someone with at least a year of professional brewing or packaging experience, however the right candidate will be considered regardless of experience.
The Role
You will work with the Brewing team, providing assistance on the brewing, canning, kegging and casking beer. From grain to can or glass. This position will be physically demanding, involving regular manual handling and being on your feet for extended periods of time. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a brewery environment.
Salary and other compensation: £26k – £27.5k (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full time (37.5h/Week)

The Brew Team is responsible for brewing and packaging our products into can, keg, bottle and cask to the highest possible standard. The brewing team consists of 4 core staff once this post has been filled: Head Brewer, Lead Brewer, Brewing Operative and Brewery Assistant

Responsibilities
Operation of Microcan CL5 canning line, training and support in this will be provided although some experience with canning is preferred.
Working with the Head Brewer & Lead Brewer to monitor quality standards of packaged can and keg product Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and record keeping throughout the production process.
General assistance with brewing and cellaring tasks, including wort production on our 20hl manual brew house.
Working with the Director of Operations, assisting with warehousing tasks including preparing orders for dispatch.
Packaging keg and cask product Selection Criteria Essential Skills Use of mobile lifting and movement equipment
The ability to work safely and to set health and safety standards
Self motivated and organised
Ability to lift 30kg
IT literacy to accurately use Breww brewery management software
Desirable Skills
At least a year of experience at a commercial brewery in either a brewing or packaging role, other relevant experience will be considered.
Full clean UK driving licence Forklift experience.
Working knowledge of craft beer and understanding of the UK scene
