Sales Lead

Role Purpose
To focus on business growth and extend the reach of Purple Moose Brewery’s products and services, whilst maintaining and managing key customer relationships across trade and wholesale. The successful candidate will also work alongside our retail and public house managers to coordinate efficient and seamless business opportunities throughout the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and develop strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities, working with marketing and the Managing Director to achieve growth
- Generate leads and convert to sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction
- Create sales forecasts and liaise with the brewery production team to support planning and scheduling
- Possess a strong understanding of Purple Moose Brewery products and the competition in the industry
- Collaborate with marketing to develop the brand of Purple Moose Brewery
- Explore and coordinate new export opportunities
- Attend Food fayres and festivals to build and develop relationships
- Participate in community engagement activities
- Manage the delivery drivers to maximise their time schedule and encourage the promotion of Purple Moose Brewery during their delivery visits.
- Attend training sessions when required

Person Specification
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
Proven track record of sales within the independent craft beer industry
Experience in managing and growing accounts
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Full, clean UK driving licence
Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about craft beer
