Temp Brewer/Packager
At Signature Brew we make award-winning beer in our North East London HQ, a state-of-the-art brewery by day, legendary live music venue by night.
We formed back in 2011 during the craft beer revolution, and since then we’ve collaborated with more musicians than any other brewery on the planet.
In an age where time comes at a premium, every moment counts, but none more than those spent enjoying great music in good company. We exist to ensure these times are never compromised; from the moment the first beer hits to the moment the beat drops.
We are looking for a Brewer and Packager to help us meet the increased production demands of the summer festival season. This is a 4-month contract role based at our Blackhorse Road brewery. For the right person, there’s potential for this to develop into a permanent position. You’ll be joining a passionate, hardworking, music-loving team with a relentless focus on beer quality, innovation and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Brewing across our core and seasonal ranges
- Cellaring duties including yeast handling, dry hopping, and tank transfers
- CIP and hygiene duties across all equipment and production spaces
- Monitoring and maintaining fermentation and conditioning progress
- Packaging line work – kegging, canning and bottling where required
- Accurate record-keeping and adherence to production schedules
- Helping maintain the high safety and quality standards the brewery is known for
- Supporting the team to ensure production targets are met without compromising quality
- Participating in sensory panels and quality assessments
About you:
- Previous experience working in a commercial brewery (ideally 10hl+)
- A solid understanding of the brewing process from grain to glass
- Great attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- A passion for beer and a collaborative team mindset
- Flexibility to work across shifts, including occasional evenings or weekends
- Forklift licence and relevant brewing qualifications (desirable, not essential)
This is a full-time, 4-month temporary position starting in June. For the right candidate, there’s a real opportunity to grow into a permanent role as the brewery continues to expand.
