At Burning Sky we are looking for a reliable & dedicated warehouse keeper / delivery driver to join our small team.
You will be responsible for all aspects of beer logistics in our brewery yard & cold store, as well as undertaking local beer deliveries in our brewery van.
Whilst previous warehouse or delivery driving experience is of benefit, what really matters is your enthusiasm, energy, strong customer focus and the ability to work as part of a small, dynamic brewery team. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.
Responsibilities:
Brewery
- Manage the stock in the cold store and yard
- Pick and construct orders, both for pallet shipments and local deliveries
- Assist in other brewery areas where necessary
Deliveries
- Load our delivery van and safely transport kegs, casks & cases to our local customers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies whilst on the road
- Keep accurate records of deliveries
- Represent the brewery professionally with a courteous & knowledgeable approach to customers
- Assist customers with any queries or delivery issues
- Maintain the van’s cleanliness and perform daily safety checks
Requirements:
- Valid driving licence, experience of driving a van preferred. Previous experience of delivery driving or warehouse operations an advantage
- Forklift licence an advantage
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective customer interactions
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping
